ACCOMMODATION

· A total of 155 furnished bedrooms are available, each measuring 24.4m2. The bedrooms can accommodate 1 to 6 people depending on customer requirements. (The 155 cabins can, if required, be divided to form 310 single rooms with shared en-suite facilities).
· All the 155 bedrooms have en-suite facilities comprising toilet, washbasin and shower and extract ventilation.
· Double electrical outlets sockets with TV aerial point.


PUBLIC AREAS

· Restaurant/dining areas with seating for up to 350 people per sitting.
· Large reception lobby/lounge area with separate reception offices.
· Large conference/training room (can be divided into smaller rooms).
· Spaces for shops/sales kiosk.
· 4 spacious office/meeting rooms.
· Large recreation rooms with bar area if required.
· Public toilets adjacent to public areas.
· 6 person elevators connecting all decks.


CATERING & HOUSEKEEPING FACILITIES

· A fully equipped kitchen with associated refrigerated, freezer and dry storage facilities is located on the barge deck.
· Ample laundry rooms with washing machines, dryers, sinks etc.
· Ample storage rooms and lockers throughout the Coastel.
· Service elevator linking linen stores on all floors.


HEATING, VENTILATION & AIR CONDITIONING

All spaces throughout the unit are served by a heating, ventilation and air conditioning system (HVAC), which is automatically controlled to maintain the desired temperature level. The engine control room has its own air conditioning unit. All bathrooms, stores and machinery spaces have mechanical ventilation and a mechanical exhaust system.  

FIRE DETECTION & ALARM SYSTEM

· Smoke detectors are installed in all bedrooms, public rooms and stairwells. Heat detectors are installed in the kitchens and machinery spaces and are linked to a central control and alarm monitoring system located at reception.
· A water sprinkler system is installed in each fire zone with sprinkler heads in all areas.
· Fire doors, fire curtains, fire dampers and fire fighting equipment are installed and manually operated fire alarm push buttons are located throughout the Coastel.
· A public address system, operated from the main reception, serves all areas.

POWER SUPPLY

· 4 off Caterpillar diesel generators, each developing 440v, 250kW, 60 Hz 3 Phase and earth providing 220v for domestic use.
· Emergency generator for lights, elevators, fire detection system and fire pumps.
· Shore supply - Maximum 1250 amps at 440v, 60Hz / 380v, 50Hz.
