ACCOMMODATION

· A total of 182 furnished bedrooms are available, each measuring 8.7m2. The majority of the bedrooms accommodate 2 people giving a total of 354 beds.
· All rooms have en-suite facilities comprising toilet, washbasin, shower and extract ventilation.
· Heating is provided by 800w electric radiators.
· En-suite heating is provided by a 500w reflector radiator.
· Double electrical outlet sockets with TV aerial point.
 

PUBLIC AREAS

· Reception area with separate reception office.
· Restaurant/dining areas with seating for 130 people per sitting.
· Separate lounge/recreation areas located on the 1st deck.
· Public toilets adjacent to dining rooms and lounge areas.
· Changing rooms located on the deck level adjacent to the main entrance.
· Lounges with a total area 228m2 located on the first deck.
 

CATERING & HOUSEKEEPING

· A fully-equipped kitchen with associated dry and refrigerated storage facilities is located on the barge deck.

  Ample storage rooms and lockers throughout the Coastel.
 

HEATING & VENTILATION

· All rooms, offices and public areas are heated by 800w electric radiators.
· Each room has natural ventilation.
· Each bathroom has natural ventilation and a mechanical exhaust system.
 

FIRE DETECTION & ALARM SYSTEM

· Smoke detectors are installed in all bedrooms, public rooms and stairwells. Heat detectors are installed in the kitchens and are linked to a central control and alarm monitoring system located at the reception.
· Manual fire alarm push buttons are installed in stairwells and adjacent to all external doors.
· Fire fighting equipment is installed around the Coastel as required by the Norwegian Building Regulations.
· Fire and smoke doors are installed throughout the accommodation as required by the Norwegian Building Regulations.
· A public address system, which serves all areas, is operated from the reception.
