ACCOMMODATION
- Total number of bedrooms available for customer use is 213. The majority of rooms are twin occupancy with the remainder four, five, six, eight and sixteen occupancy. Under its present configuration this provides accommodation for up to 550 persons.
- Public areas include a large restaurant and kitchen, along with several mini kitchens.
- Washrooms, toilets and shower-rooms are provided throughout the Coastel.
- Recreation and office facilities on all decks.
CATERING & HOUSEKEEPING
- The kitchen is fitted with power and water points.
- Associated dry and refrigerated storage facilities are provided.
- Services and connections are supplied through the Coastel for minin kitchens.
- Space is allocated on the ground floor for a central laundry.
- Storage and linen lockers are provided throughout.
HEATING & VENTILATION
- All rooms, offices and public areas are heated by 400w and / or 800w electric wall radiators.
- Each bedroom has natural ventilation.
- Each bathroom has natural ventilation and a mechanical exhaust system
FIRE DETECTION & ALARM SYSTEM
- Fire fighting equipment is installed throughout the Coastel and heat detectors are installed in all bedrooms, public rooms and the kitchen, in addition to smoke detectors installed in all corridors. Fire and smoke doors are also provided and each stairwell has a pneumatically operated smoke release hatch.
- All fire detection systems are linked to a central control and alarm monitoring panel located at the main reception.
- A public address system, operated from the main reception serves all areas throughout the Coastel.
